Week off

Thought I would do a quick post. The chin up/push up numbers are the same as the last post. My shoulder kept hurting when I did push ups so I decided to just take a week off and see if that made a difference. It has been about 5 days since I did any push ups, chins or any kind of other exercise. Tomorrow I am going to try to jump back on the bandwagon. I haven't weighed myself in about a week. Although I haven't been doing any exercise I have still been eating as if I had been working out. We will see what the damage is tomorrow also.

It is a crossfit type blog/website called Byers gets Diesel. A cool website-check it out. If you have ever tried to do push ups on a pair of kettlebells you will have a bit of an idea how challenging this might be. You may have noticed that I haven''t posted my weight above-mostly because I don't have an idea-where I am at. I am out of town on busines right now, but have also been avoiding the scale. Mostly I have been avoiding the scale as I have been eating pretty much whatever I have wanted lately and due to the sore shoulder I am just getting back into working out on a regular basis. Good news is the shoulder feels like it is back to 100%

Shoulder on the mend

Well the shoulder seems to be recovering -still a little tender but I got a couple of hundred push ups done today. I am a little stiff from the push ups. Hoping that is just the fact that I haven't been working out a lot over the last couple of weeks. I am hoping to get the momentuum going again. 370 push ups wasn't bad hopefully the shoulder will hold up and I can get in another couple of hundred tomorrow.

Shoulder struggles

Still have a bit of a nagging shoulder injury. I have been taking it easy for the last week or two. Haven't done a lot of push ups or chins. I am going to try a workout today. Haven't been to a doctor or anything I have been just expecting the shoulder to recover, but it doesn't seem to be getting a lot better or worse. Going to try to do an easy workout today and see where that gets me. On another note I found a pretty good article with some interesting variations of push ups. Here is the link:

Not quite a comeback week

Okay this week was supposed to be a little better as far as push ups and chins went-well some days were pretty good-some days not so good. My right shoulder is a little sore ,so I have been taking it a bit easy-just so I don't aggrevate it and can't do any push ups. Today the shoulder was still a bit sore but I got over 300 push ups done and the shoulder is tender but not screaming with pain. Keeping the fingers crossed for tomorrow.
