It has been a pretty decent week for push ups and chin ups. Most days I got some work done even if it was only 80 push ups one day. Typically I start chins with sets of 7 or 8 reps and over the course of the workout this deteriorates down to sets of 3 reps. Push ups I start with sets up around 40 reps and over time the workout this goes down to sets of 20s or 10's. I can do an hour workout of sets of 10 with rest between of about 30 seconds. Right now I most days I am alternating sets of chins and push ups with about 30 seconds between these sets. Mostly I am trying to use these supersets to get my heartrate up into a fat burning zone. I am still trying to make progress towards my goal of 1,000,000 push ups and chins, but if you check out my other blog you will have a better idea of why I am doing the supersets and trying to burn more calories.
