Training other than pull ups and push ups

I have not been hitting the chin up bar or doing push ups everyday. That is good to avoid over training but not so good in driving more quickly towards my goal of one million push ups and chins. None the less what is it they say? Slow progress is better than no progress. Cathy and I are doing a round of Insanity and for sure I will be counting any push ups or push up jacks that we do during those workouts towards my total. Anyway below is a video for this weekend to give you an idea how I train when I am not doing push ups or chin ups.:

Week off

Thought I would do a quick post. The chin up/push up numbers are the same as the last post. My shoulder kept hurting when I did push ups so I decided to just take a week off and see if that made a difference. It has been about 5 days since I did any push ups, chins or any kind of other exercise. Tomorrow I am going to try to jump back on the bandwagon. I haven't weighed myself in about a week. Although I haven't been doing any exercise I have still been eating as if I had been working out. We will see what the damage is tomorrow also.

One day back at work can sure play havoc on a diet and exercise routine. Was at the office 13 hours yesterday and the drive home is an hour -so I did't eat so well and push ups weren't happening at the end of the day. Thats all right today is another day-will get in some push ups tonight
